A Network of Christians in the Marine Corps

The Ministry

Tun Tavern Fellowship is a network based in Quantico reaching Christians in the Marine Corps throughout the world. We are a lay-led ministry.We have a missionary-at-large team at Quantico, VA LtCol Chris and Sheri Braddy USMC (Ret), who direct the day-to-day activities focused on carrying out the Great Commission. This ministry includes:(1) One-on-one discipleship and mentoring of students at TBS, EWS and CSC;(2) Coordination of small groups;(3) Facilitation and development of Tun Tavern Fellowship Dinner/Discussion groups at the bases and stations throughout the Marine Corps; (4) Coordination of special outreach dinners;(5) Travel to visit the bases and stations to encourage and equip those involved.

Small Groups

A variety of smaller settings are provided for those desiring to grow in their knowledge and understanding of God. Bible Studies Dinner Discussions (click to download the .doc file for the December Quantico Dinner Discussion) Breakfast Fellowships Discipleship Quads
These dinners are quarterly events occuring throughout the Marine Corps as led by the local Tun Tavern Fellowships.Each event gathers approximately 40 people around a meal. The dinners are evangelistic in nature yet in a more formal setting where the presentation by a speaker serves as a foundation for discussion afterwards.They are so named as in the Bible, Andrew invited his brother to come and see...
These are one on one opportunities tailored to each individual and their needs and are normally conducted over a meal.Mentoring and Discipleship is Bible-centered and focused on getting to know and understand God.These are moments when our lives intersect in order that "iron sharpens iron".

The Inn at Quantico

Our goal is to establish Tun Tavern Inns at each of the major bases and stations in the Marine Corps.

These homes become a gathering place for believers to join together for fellowship, Bible Studies and more. Each Tun Tavern Inn houses a small number of male officers and provides temporary lodging for those enroute.
