Our Vision, Mission, and Values
What Drives Us

Our Vision

An all-ranks network of Christ-following Marines and chaplains, active and retired, who glorify Jesus Christ in and out of uniform as His ambassadors. We intentionally identify, connect, encourage, equip Marines to know the Lord Jesus, and train them to obey His Word. Our enduring requirement envisions cultivating continuous fellowship and personal revival leading to fruit bearing maturity, spiritual reproduction and warfare resilience in each Marine, their unit, their families, and throughout their professional career.

Our Mission

The mission of Tun Tavern Fellowship is to help fulfill the Great Commission by proclaiming the Gospel and making disciples within the context of the Marine Corps in order to glorify God by encouraging and equipping Marines of all ranks to obey God and love others through Biblical fellowship and training.

Our Values

We are – grounded in Christ and His Word, guided by the Holy Spirit, driven by discipleship, intentional in Marine Corps relationships, connected in the Body of Christ, and encouraged in the expeditionary journey.

Statement of Faith

Tun Tavern Fellowship (TTF) uses the historic Apostle’s Creed as our ministry’s Statement of Faith in order to provide clarity, unity, and timeless orthodoxy in an age of increasing theological confusion. Its concise and ancient formulation anchors the ministry in the foundational truths of the Christian faith—centered on the triune God, the authority of Christ, and the hope of resurrection—while avoiding modern doctrinal controversies that can divide unnecessarily. By affirming the Creed, the TTF ministry aligns itself with the historic, global church and communicates a clear, Christ-centered message that transcends denominational boundaries, offering both doctrinal stability and evangelical credibility.

We Believe

 “We believe in God,
the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
he descended into hell;
on the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.

Amen.”
